Rust & buren
- Hof van Sassenbroek is located in a very quiet rural setting. Please keep noise levels down between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM, especially outside and out of respect for other guests. Of course, guests can still enjoy the peace and atmosphere in the evening, as long as it is done with consideration for the surroundings and the sleep of others.
Respect for the home and surroundings
- We ask that you treat the house, the furniture, and the surroundings with care. The coat hangers are intended solely for hanging clothes; please do not hang yourself on them or pull on them, so that everything remains in good condition and secure for everyone.
- Please report any damage or defects to the owner as soon as possible so that we can work together to find a solution.
- The inner courtyard is a place for peace and coziness. The communal garden can be used for playing.
- Please respect the trees and flower beds and do not walk in them or break off branches.
Safety
- Close windows and doors when you leave the house.
- Always use appliances such as a barbecue, fire pit, or cooking devices in a safe manner. The use of the holiday home, appliances, and facilities is at the guests' own risk. The owner cannot be held liable for accidents or damage caused by improper use.
- A first aid kit is available for emergencies. If you use it, please let us know so that we can ensure the next guests also have a fully equipped kit.
- Should a fire unexpectedly break out, please follow the instructions as indicated in the property and ensure that everyone can leave the building safely.
Energy & water
- Only normal electricity and water consumption during the stay is included.
- Please use light, heating, and water sparingly.
- Charging electric vehicles is not permitted with the exception of bicycles.
Departure
- Empty the refrigerator and take all personal belongings with you.
- All materials and objects of Hof van Sassenbroek are put back in their original place.
- To load and start the dishwasher (we will take care of unloading it).
- All windows and doors must be closed and the lights turned off.
- Waste is sorted according to the indicated guidelines
- Hand over the keys to the operators or leave them in the agreed place.
- Settle any outstanding bills before departure.
Guarantee
- Upon arrival: €200 per accommodation (preferably electronically)
- Refund: at the latest 15 days after departure, provided the property is in good condition
- Any damage or extra cleaning costs will be deducted from the deposit
- Payment methods: electronic, cash, or bank transfer (arrangements upon booking)
Payments
- 50% of the rental fee upon booking (final amount after receipt)
- 50% remaining: 1 month until arrival
- Other services: charged upon departure
- Tourist tax: €2 per person/night, to be paid in addition to the rental price upon arrival

Yes, a smoking ban applies in all apartments. Smoking is only allowed outside.

Yes, the Haspengouw region is ideal for walking and cycling, with numerous routes along orchards and nature reserves.

Pets are not allowed in Hof van Sassenbroek, in order to guarantee peace and comfort for all guests.

Breakfast is not offered, but there are several breakfast options and local bakeries in the area.

In Borgloon and the surrounding villages, you will find various shops, supermarkets, and local producers. You can find a list in the guest folder in the accommodations.

Going out with friends and then having a drink and chatting on the terrace afterwards? Fine, but let me know in advance.
Friends or family coming over for a day visit? That is actually not allowed.

Yes, the houses can be combined. The courtyard with a large dining table and sitting area is ideal for dining and enjoying together.

Yes, every property has its own barbecue on the private terrace. This is available upon request.

Each home features three bedrooms with a private bathroom. Two bathrooms have a shower, one bathroom features a comfortable bathtub.

No, they are all double beds.

A crib is available upon request. Please let us know when you make your reservation so we can make all the necessary arrangements for you.

Yes, ample parking is provided on the premises.

Yes, all homes are equipped with Wi-Fi and digital television.

Yes, bed linen and towels are included. The beds are already made upon arrival, so your stay can start relaxing right away.

The homes are equipped with underfloor heating, so you can stay comfortably all year round. There is no air conditioning available.

The garden is not fully fenced.

Check-in is available from 4:00 PM, and check-out is at 10:00 AM. If you would like different times, please feel free to contact us.

The minimum stay is always 2 nights.

The deposit is €200 per apartment and must be paid electronically before check-in. It will be refunded within 15 days of check-out, provided the apartment is left in good condition.

To confirm your reservation, you will receive an initial payment request for 50% of the total stay amount. Once this payment is received, your reservation will be finalized.

Approximately six weeks before arrival, we will send a second payment request for the remaining balance. This amount must be paid no later than 30 days before arrival.
